Unlike our barefoot-friendly anti-slip paint like Dura Grip E2 this high texture non-skid paint Tuff Grip brings a whole new level of grip and traction to almost any surface. SlipDoctors Tuff Grip Clear is aN acrylic textured coating, boasting superior performance regarding its durability and anti-slip properties. In addition to being UV and chemical resistant, it is also non-toxic and easy to apply, with a low odor and one-step process.
Tuff Grip non-skid paint can be applied to many residential, industrial, and commercial surfaces, including decks, stairs, walkways and aisles, entrances and exits, ramps, natural wood surfaces, and even smooth or stained concrete.
Tuff Grip Non-Slip Paint is the ideal choice for high-traffic and industrial settings, offering superior traction and durability with easy application. Each 3.8 litres comes with a 9” textured roller, and enough non-skid paint to cover an area approx. 15 square metres per 3.8 litres. Two coats are usually sufficient, though for heavy-vehicle traffic, three coats are recommended.

- Step 1: For exterior applications, check weather conditions to be certain rain or dew is not imminent before product has had the opportunity to cure fully after application.
- Step 2: TEST: Tuff Grip Clear should be tested on a small inconspicuous area before full application.
- Step 3: MIXING: Use paint shaker or hand stir to thoroughly mix before using. Stir occasionally during use. Do not mix Tuff Grip Clear with any compound containing solvent.
- Step 4: APPLICATION: Apply with a textured roller in 1-2 coats (2 coats recommended). Using SlipDoctors 9” textured blue foam roller, apply Tuff Grip Clear in uniform coats applying with light even pressure. For best performance, avoid thick coats. Once dry to touch (2-4 hours), second coat should be applied at a right angle to the first coat.
- Step 5: CLEAN UP: While Tuff Grip Clear is still wet, equipment may be cleaned with soap and water. Once dried, equipment may be cleaned with a solvent such as xylene.
- For general cleaning and maintenance, use a light pressure rinsing. For best results to remove oily deposits or other foreign matter, use a pH-neutral cleaner and scrub lightly with a soft bristle deck brush.
