SlipDoctors GripX is a durable anti-slip coating specifically formulated to increase slip resistance on tiles, natural stone, stamped and stained concrete, sealed surfaces, and most other natural stone surfaces. Easy to apply with a roll-on method, GripX cures to a semi-gloss textured finish. This not only enhances the slip resistance of the surface but also seals it to prevent water damage, scuff marks, and scratches. The textured grit finish is completely barefoot and paw-friendly, making it perfect for use in slippery bathrooms, showers, kitchens, patios, and balconies.

Thanks to its UV protection, GripX is suitable for outdoor surfaces that receive a lot of sun during the summer. Application is simple: clean the surface and roll on two coats of GripX to ensure the highest level of slip resistance and durability. Each application lasts a minimum of two years and is protected by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty. Surface preparation involves cleaning with a pH-neutral cleaner or power wash, rinsing, and allowing it to dry thoroughly. For best adhesion, lightly sand the surface with soft grit sandpaper or etch using SlipDoctors Maintain Grip.

If working with previously sealed surfaces, any chipping or flaking should be sanded or scuffed to a sound surface. For sound sealed surfaces, lightly sand with soft grit sandpaper to promote adhesion, then scrub and clean with a pH-neutral cleaner. Rinse thoroughly and allow the surface to dry before application. GripX cannot be applied over wood or synthetic. It should be tested on a small inconspicuous area before full application. Shake the bottle vigorously, pour the anti-slip coating into a container, and mix well. Apply GripX with a high-quality lint-free paint roller in two coats, allowing the first coat to dry for 2-4 hours before applying the second coat at a right angle. GripX requires 6 to 12 hours to cure for light traffic and 24 hours for normal traffic.
